True fit crotch strap

We have one of the two position crotch straps on our TF. Does anyone know if the three position crotch strap has more space or does it just have another slot btwn the front and back slot? DS seems to have a problem with the fit of the crotch strap unless we spend 5 minutes trying to get him as upright as humanly possible and then sometimes he still complains it is too tight. Does anyone else have this issue?

Yes I have heard that there is more room in the 3rd crotch position. But you'd have a pretty hard time trying to find a 3 crotch position seat, there isn't too many of them. I think it's just the seats with the DOM in 1/08.

Anyone know how much more room there is in the furthest crotch strap position on the Frontier... compared to the TF? I'm wondering if our issue is b/c DS is only three but he is the size of a 4 year old and he is still in diapers.

Where should the buckle be located on the child for an appropriate fit?
