Hi! I just bought my dd (2 1/2 years old) a GN and have some questions. I'm trying to position the harness straps and headrest at the right location for her. I originally had the harness straps at the second from the bottom slot but then the headrest was up too high. I tried moving the headrest down a little but then it covered the harness strap slot that she was in. Is that okay or should the headrest be higher than the slot she is using? So then I moved the slots down one (they were very very very slightly above her shoulders) and the headrest looked much better and more appropriate. What would be the correct position in this situation??

Also, she has severe head flop in this seat. We did not have this problem with her Britax Marathon. I put her into my son's radian80 to see if that would be better, and it was slightly better but she still flopped around a little bit. Which seat would I be better off with? The Radian or the GN? Or is there another seat that would work better? I don't really want to get a Britax Marathon for her again (although it is tempting since her head did not flop at all) because I want a seat she will be able to grow with and use for a very long time.

Please help because I am so frustrated right now!
Thanks so much!!

The harness must be at the slot that is at or above her shoulders, and the head rest MUST NOT be pushed down over the harness. If the child is significantly under the most appropriate harness slot, there will be a period of time where the head rest looks odd, but it is safe :)

The Nautilus does have a headflop element. Using the recline function will help somewhat.
