I give up searching for things here, because I am terrible at it. So if this question has been asked and answered before, then sorry.:p

I drive an '05 Outlander, and I just had to move M into the MA today, because he's a monster, weight wise.:( (I can't believe he's out of the infant seat already. Time flies.) I installed the MA in the Outlander, and it went in like a dream. However, unless I am totally blind, I can't find a great place to tether it RFing.

Does anyone here have the older body style Outlander and know of a good place to anchor? The only thing that I could even see that might possibly work was the seatbelt stalk closest to the passanger side door. However, if I put it around there, as soon as I tighten the tether anchor, the D-ring slides up onto the seat belt. The only other thing that is remotely accessible was on the bottom of the seat, but it's a moving part that isn't bolted down. So if you can help me, then great, I will love you forever. (Or at the very least, I'll thank you. lol:whistle:)

I don't know the car very well, but some tricks I've noticed in other cars are to remove the plastic from around the legs, move the seat forward to see if there's access to the track. Otherwise no specific suggestions. I haven't heard of there being huge issues in Mitsubishis, not like VWs or Audis which really have no place besides the seatbelt that's good.

You could post some pics, and we could see if we see anything. :shrug-shoulders:

Good idea. I'll take some pictures this afternoon.

I tried to see if I can take the plastic covering off, but it looks like it would break. I think the only way to take it off would be to remove the entire passanger seat first. yeah, I won't be doing that. lol I will take a closer look today. I was in a bit of a hurry yesterday, as I installed it right before dinner.

Thanks for the suggestions!:)

Check for screws on the plastic. I've used a screwdriver (with the parents' permission) to get it off before.
