Check my Regent install please

I installed it using the lap/shoulder belt for my 50lb. dd. But the manual says the seat belt needs to be inside of the recline bar but there is just no way that would work :confused: What do you suggest?

Are you sure you read the manual correctly? Go back and look at it again. The version I just read says that the seatbelt must be outside the recline bar. But I know the rules have changed based on DOM, so you should check your manual.

I just checked the britax website to make sure, but when installing with a seatbelt the belt IS supposed to be outside of the recline bar. It's when installing with latch that it has to be inside the bar. I found it on page 32 #5 of the instruction manual.

I just checked my manual again, I was looking at lap belt only :doh:
So, its rock solid and dd1 is on the 2nd from the top :D
