If I bought a Regent with a DOM of 10/07 do I have to use the recline bar?

I think the advisory date was May or June 2007 so yours is a post-advisory regent and does require a recline bar to be used.

Mine has a DOM of 05-31-07 and I have to use the recline bar :(

I have leather captain seats and when I tried installing a Regent a few years ago the recline bar would fall off and through the crease in the vehicle seat. But now that I'm more "seasoned" with car seat installations I'm going to try again....I really hope it works! My 5.5y/o is going to freak out at me when she finds out that she's going be harnessed again :rolleyes:

The advisory date was 6/18/07, you should not have to use it.
