I finally got hold of my motherīs car to take some photos. Guess what I found out: The tether straps were installed too low.:doh:
The position I installed them in the first time I put the seat in the car:

The low positioning of the tether straps is for installation on the front seat only.
Correct installation on the rearseat: Through the seatbelt holes.

The seat is installed at a 45 degree angle, which is from 20-28 lbs (9-13 kg).
