On another board, there is a mom asking about the TP for her 35lb 28mth old. She wants something that will last a long time and is extremely comfortable. Isn't the TP basically a Regent with more bells and whistles? What can you tell me about it?

The Traveler Plus is the same basic shell as the Regent. It has the option of a seat depth extender, and a whole bunch of special needs padding. It also has a double tether that must be used after 80#. Also, there are no restrictions on having to switch to SBP at 40#. The TP manual does state that once a child is on the top slots, they may continue to use the restraint until the top of the ears are level with the shell. The difference in price does not make it worth the small amount of extra time it will fit for a child that does not actually need the special features.
The Roosevelt has a higher weight limit, taller slots, and can be used without the tether for less $.
