Help me find a stroller...

Ok all you ladies were GREAT when i was looking for car seats... but now i'm thinking about a new stroller, here's the background on my strollers....

I didn't use a stroller for my kids (or a bucket) when my kids are uner age 1, for that matter some times till there were 2, anyways i use slings, MT carriers, ect. my kids are happier and i'm very much into NINO (nine months in the belly, nine months out). We got to disney world about every 1.5 years so oviously we've used strollers! LOL
first trip w/ kids my ds was 3, my dd was almost 1.5, we used my SIL's doulbe, it worked out ok, i didn't do the pusing though b/c i was 6 months prengant...
Trip 2 w/ kids (3 kids) we bought a jeep liberty doulbe (one behind one) stroller off ebay for $50 (including shipping) it was like new and mint conditon, great deal, my kids were 5,3,1, and 1/2 the time my older kids road and youngest was in a back carrier, other 1/2 the time younger 2 were in the stroller and oldest ds walked... that stroller was VERY heavy, bulky and harder to stire withe two older kids in it... we sold it in a rumage sale for $40 last summer.
At a second had store this summer i found a kolcraft stroller that is a double side by side, that my girls road in at kings island in aug. it worked ok but not easiest to turn, and not much storage, ect.
well we head back to disney in Feb, and currently i have the doulbe still and a single BIG stroller for when i'm going to the mall, zoos, 1/2 day trips or less that i put allison in, but it's pretty heavy as well...
I would like something less then $50 if that's possilbe, i could got up to $100 if i use some x-mas funds from family, ect. dh just doesn't see why i need another stroller, when we have 2 currently...
if ya want more info i'd be more then happy! LOL :) i think i'm looking for a single that my two youngers can trade off on but not sure that's the best idea, maybe we still need a doulbe???? HELP! LOL

If I were you, I'd buy a single. Your older kids can definitely walk IMO! :p But, maybe thats just me. I use a stroller for my youngest (2) and my older 2 (3 and 4) walk everywhere we go. As for a good single stroller, I'm also in the market, and am interested to see what others say. I did see the Britax Forerunner stroller on closeout at elitecarseats for $69.99 (regular price $170)! If their strollers as as good as their car seats, it would definitely be worth it. I'm very tempted to get one of the Forerunners myself, but want to see what others say first. Have fun shopping!

see 90% of my trips abby walks all the time, but disney is SO BIG we'll be walking up to 3 miles a day, 3-4 days out of the week, we don't usally rest in the hotel durring the day we stay at the parks all day long opening to closing, we see time out of the park as a waste of $$, if you break it down to price per hour... i just would rather take a doulbe if i need one then have a single and end up having to rent (for $8-11 a day) a another single and have 2 strollers to push around... ya know, but i'm not sure maybe she will do better, i guess we need to take some all day long trips to the mall and see how she does walking all day or somthing like that.

Yeah, I suppose that would be ALOT of walking for those little legs! I don't know of any good doubles for under $100, though. Hopefully someone else can chime in here and tell us about some! The Graco Duorider (not Duoglider) is a nice side by side for about $120 (I think). How about just a double umbrella stroller? Have you considered something along the lines of a 'Sit and Stand" Stroller? Target has an example

It looks much smaller than a regular double stroller and you can use the back area for carrying stuff when child wants to walk.

There's also the attachable buggy board to a single stroller.

That version is almost as expensive as buying a stroller, but there's ebay and other locations that have cheaper versions.

Oh yeah, I like the idea of the buggy board because you could attach it when you need it and take it off when you don't! I might have to think about that...

What about renting a double from Disney? If you park hop, you still only pay rental once for the entire day, your two older children could switch off, and in a pinch I have seen 3 children riding in a double (many times, we go to DW often).

You could still take a single for the baby to use when you are are smaller venues where you could let the big kids walk.

The other idea would be to buy two cheapy umbrella strollers. They are cheap and if the airlines break them or loose them they will be easy to replace and then you can buy the umbrella stroller connectors. I have done this with the Jeep Umbrella stroller and it does work really well just as easily as any other SBS umbrella. This way you have double the storage and when the older of the two is walking you could easily fold it up and actually put in in the bottom of the other longwise wheels resting on back bar underneath and handles on the footrest. Or just keep it attached and open and use it for storage.
