It tonight's episode they showed baby Matt Parkman in a rear-facing Alpha Omega in 2 cars and a semi! The strap were even tight and on the shoulders. It was a very pretty pattern, one I haven't seen before.

rofl- I just started watching the 1st season a few days ago (I have an issue w/ having to see series from the beginning) and was mildly horrified by the lack of booster use... I'm glad they're doing better :thumbsup:

Was just coming to post....I'm happy the baby is in a new AOE and RF in the back seat, AND that when they started to get in a different car, they took the car seat with them...

However, the straps are above his shoulders and I have yet to see the chest clip... I'm guessing it's on his belly because the shoulder pads are on his chest.

The straps were definitely above his shoulders, but it was tightened well. Didn't see the chest clip, but really, what little we did see looked great compared to so many other TV shows.

However, it looked like they just set the seat in the back of the semi when that trucker picked them up... they pretty much just got in and started driving. Of course I didn't expect to see them actually installing the seat but it wasn't obvious that there was a time lapse for that to happen, either.

Definately one of the better car seat uses on TV, though. I and waiting for season 3 to come out on DVD, so am not watching current episodes. Great to hear though.

Eh, what bothered me the most was the unrestrained Ando in the back making faces. :p

DH follows Heroes and he paused the DVR and got my attention to watch during those scenes to gawk at the baby, carseat, and the Nissan Cube. Did you notice Hiro and Ando appeared to be sharing a seatbelt in the back of the semi? Hiro's facial expression of extreme discomfort was hilarious, but the shoulder belt across his neck was cringe inducing.

I saw that too. :( DH didn't see the last episode, but he saw this one and said, "Shouldn't he be rear-facing?" GO DH!! Of course, I think he just said that for my benefit kind of as a joke because he knew I'd notice. I told him yes, and that he was last week and that we discussed it on the board. He just rolled his eyes and said, "Of course you did." :p
