Here are the pics of the SR32 in Montreal.

It's actually less green than I remember, though it still has primarily green and khaki undertones. It's not grey, and it's not tan.

Warning: Vent about a baby gear store in Calgary coming up!

I am completely 150% done with Kac'z Kids. They have treated me poorly for the LAST TIME. Even when I explained why I was taking a few pictures, I was told to leave. I was told that my 18m/o shouldn't ride rear facing and therefore they would not un-ziptie the harness for me to try Emma in the seat(see pics of how the harness is ziptied). I was told to stop "messing the seat up". The staff member continued to stand over me even when I said I was fine and didn't need any help. From here on out, Bo Bebe and Echildren will have my business. I know a few other techs in Calgary feel the same way.

Anyway, here are the pics. I got measurements of the bottom slots, top slots (not sure if the slots are different than the SS1), and seat shell. I also put the seat next to the ever popular Joovy Ultralite in hopes that you might get a feel for what shade of apple green is in the fabric. I also put it next to a BJCM single for the same reason. I couldn't find any mainstream product with the same khaki colour in it. (again, thinking you might be able to get a feel for the shade of 'green' in the seat if you could go see a product of the same colour.. does that makes sense? :o)

Ooooooooooh, nice seat!

Angie - Glad to know to avoid that store if I'm ever in Calgary. WTH is up with all those zip ties?!? Don't they understand that by virtue of having a display model people are going to want to try it out, including trying their child in it? What if god forbid, someone wanted to actually try a seat out in their vehicle - they would probably lose their minds! :hitselfonhead:

So you can't even undo the harness buckle?

Nice looking seat though - is it available anywhere else?

Ocassionally they'll have 1 floor model of something not ziptied.

For example, they have the BV clicksafe un ziptied so you can try your child in it. The regular BV is ziptied to the hilt.

All of the 3-in-1s are ziptied, so one time when I was trying to explain about the top unuseable slot to a parent I wasn't able to actually slide the bar up and have their child sit in it.

Most of their strollers are wired together so you can't try them out.

It's strange, and such a waste of time as a customer. You drive all the way there and then all you can do is stand there and look.
