Need the good, bad and the ugly.....

I have two seat available if River doesn't fit the Snugride.
My friend has a Evenflo Embrace (I think), I know it has super low bottom slots but I am not a huge fan.

And the Maxi Cosi is at ToysRUs... w/ the insert (3-4" of foam under butt) it makes the bottom slot 5-6"....

So need to make sure it is a good choice in case it is needed. I am not worried about weight, just torso.. thanks

I brought 3lb dd home in an Embrace. It was the only seat with low enough bottom slots, and ironically having rear harness adjust meant that I could get it super tight. (well, super tight is a relative term, she fit as good as she was going to, I had no other options)

As soon as she was big enough to go into her SR she did. The Embrace was pretty yucky. :o

I'm not a fan of puzzle buckles, so the Maxi Cosi would be a no-go.

If I were you I'd just get a Keyfit. :twocents:

I want to get the KeyFit but it is a lot of money to put into a seat we "may" or "may not" need. KWIM! Then I'd have to wait for it to arrive.

Your DD fits the harness height on that seat well. I HIGHLY doubt River will be under 5lbs even if she comes tonight and leaves the hospital in 2 wks. She is already about 4lbs as it is.

Thanks for the pic
