How do you like it? How did your kids react to it and play with it? How old are they? Do they have younger siblings?

RubysGirl,

While I was web-searching "joovy Doll carseat" to find out what it was, I came across this website. I had never heard of such a toy until today?

I also found this website. If you read what "Jenna" says below the second picture she obviously doesn't understand CPS safety. She can't understand why the company crash tested the Joovy play Carseats.

Yes, but actually I told MIL that DD wanted it for her birthday. I suggested the "toddler" one, but she got DD (3 yrs) the pink infant seat. DD loves it, and I like it because I can keep it mostly in the car. It works well, and I actually get a good (les then 1") install with LATCH. The seatbelt isn't as great, but good enough to make it not a projectile. It's nice the seat has the detachable base.

I am pg now, so I"m sure DD will love using it even more when I have the baby, but she takes it ALL the time even now. She can also unbuckle and buckle it by herself. That's good for my sanity.

I considered posting a review, but alas, life is crazy!

I have some pics...

Is the joovy carseat pretty light?

Your pix are sooooo cute. I love the muddin' photo!

Yep, it's very light. It's ALL plastic. DD can carry it with only a little whining with her heavy baby doll in it.

Leila would LOVE them! :D

But, the cost is high for me ~ almost twice the ToteNgo which also makes a great doll carseat :p

I just ordered the pink Joovy toddler carseat from Amazon for my niece's birthday next week (she's turning 3). I'm looking forward to playing with it at her party. However, I'm not too thrilled that I just spent $14 for two-day shipping so it would get here in time! :o lol Oh well, that's what I get for procrastinating!

Well, I got to play with the toddler seat that I bought for my niece over the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised because the toddler seat looked way better IRL than the pic on the box with the black straps and no chest clip. The straps on the actual seat are pink and there is a chest clip. I saw on Joovy's (http://www.joovy.com/pages/pd_booster.php) website that in the upper-left corner, they have a pic of the updated toddler seat.

My niece's doll fit wonderfully in there, I did have to lower the harness straps to the bottom slots (there are two sets of shoulder slots). It also installed really well with the seatbelt in my sister's 2000 Xterra on the driver's-side outboard seat. My niece really likes it, so it was definitely worth the $29.99 (plus free Super Saver shipping) from Amazon.

Cute. :) I've been thinking about getting one for my oldest DD for her b-day or Christmas. She's in the "little mama" stage with her dolls and her baby sister, lol, and I think she would love it.

Call me nuts but i find it very amusing that the picture of the little girl with her seat is riding in a britax BV. I guess they know what kind of parents are buying their products.

I love that they make a bar for the toy caboose to make it into a travel system. I dont own one (its on my must-buy-the-minute-i-see-a-slight-interest-in list.) but when i do i am definitely going to buy the matching stroller.

I haven't yet...but I will for DD's 3rd birthday. It would be a waste right now because I don't have a seat in our vehicle to install it in...LOL...but by then I'll have my Suburban back & plenty of room. :D
