Best deal I can find is www.diapers.com. CARSEAT10 gives you 10% off and they have free 2-day shipping.

www.babycatalog.com has a 10% code too in the sponser's area.

i'd say buy mine, but right now I don't know what to think...if DD can't use her gn much loinger, i might have to keep the stupid frontier, even though dd detests it, since there really aren't many other options.
Sigh.

I know:( I really don't want another one, I love my nautilus but it doesn't do me much good if it will be sitting in my closet

Costco.com doesn't seem to have it any more.

And for people who do NOT know anyone in the military, it's on:

www.BabyViva.com

for $252 w/ free shipping. They also have the Sahara pattern, if that's what you're looking for. I don't know how awesome that is, but I thought I'd post....the seat is just so expensive.

I bought mine from Diapers.com for $251, it shipped same day and arrived two days later. Now I'm just waiting for Graco to get the Nautilus and send a check.

If you are still looking I saw the Frontier on Costco just now. They only have the Rushmore pattern if that matters.

I know I was just looking at the car seat. One day I saw the Frontier and the Marathon and the next there was no Frontier. I happened to see it well just looking through the baby area for deals.

What does this mean (from the "Shipping and Terms" tab on the product page)????

"This item is covered by Costco's guarantee to refund your purchase price if you are not completely satisfied. Costco's guarantee applies, even though this item may not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, because Costco is not an "authorized" dealer of the merchandise."

i'd take it to mean exactly what it says.

moreover, it means it has a BETTER warranty. Costco refunds ALL your money at ANY time for ANY reason (3 years down the road, etc.) Costco's guarantee is better than any manfacturer's warranty any day, IMHO.

I recently returned a power washer that was more than 1 year old and clearly used. I explained that I was able to use it one time last year, and then after sitting in my garage all winter, it doesn't work. it was dirty and yukky. they returned it no questions asked, and i didn't even have a receipt.

Costco is not an authorized dealer of Britax products. Any items purchased from them are NOT covered by Britax's Warranty. They purchased the items through a 3rd party as Britax will not sell to Costco.

.

Yup, I would say I have to agree with the Costco warranty. I was just wondering and find it interesting that they are openly selling a product for which they are not authorized to sell by the manufacturer. Being Costco, I assume they acquired the product from some legitimate channel and not in a back alley from a guy who also sells Fendi knock-offs.

I guess it's just Britax distancing themselves from the lowly warehouse store in order to position their brand as something upscale???? I remember when you could only see them at Right Start and other fancy baby stores (about 2001) and now they are at <insert shudder & ominous doom music here>, Target.

I trust Costco, but it seems that from a warranty perspective, it's the same as buying from some store off eBay (I mean a real store, not a private individual).

I'm also wondering if it's moot, anyway. As I think I've read on other threads that Britax rarely asks for a receipt or proof of purchase...and couldn't one just say it was a gift from Grandma and the receipt is long gone????

I'm not in the market for a Frontier, although I've been threatening my new booster riders that I CAN buy a harnessed seat that will fit them if they don't straighten up. Actually considering one for my 35# 6 year old who will soon outgrow the straps on her Cargo, but DH will have a lot to say about that. The price covers the cost of membership on just one.
