Anyone know about free s/h from HipMonkey?

I have a 10% off code for HipMonkey & when I applied it, I no longer had free shipping as an option. My order was still over $99, though. Do you know...if I use the code, does that negate the free shipping?

I emailed last night & haven't heard back. I'm ok waiting for an answer from them...but just wondered if anyone here knew the answer. TIA!

GAH! Now I can't even use the 10% code; it says it's not valid...even though there was no exp. date on it. I'm getting annoyed. And I tried to call & just got a voice mail. I didn't even leave a msg.

I WANT to give my business to them....but seriously....what's the deal? I'm hoping it will all work out, though!!

I worked out a deal with Hip Monkey using their price match policy AND a multiples discount. When the discounts hit a certain value, it added shipping back in, even though my order was WELL over $100. I think they have something built into their system that you can't stack offers if they go over a certain amount. Worked with customer service to get it straightened out. Now, just waiting for my backordered Montereys.

Between emails and phone calls, we got it all figured out. I think the longest I waited for a response was 18 hours....maybe even less than that. I emailed later at night and heard from someone in the evening the next day. Their c-s reps work from home, so maybe they can't get straight to your issue. The one time I had to wait a while for a response, I received an apology for the delay. Otherwise, their turnaround has been very good and once I had them on the phone (or via email) they were quite easy to work with.

I'm usually not a patient person when it comes to retailers and customer service, but it was worth it with Hip Monkey.

So... where'd you find a 10% code? I have a 5% code, but 10% would be much nicer. :whistle:

As for the issue at hand, unfortunately I have no advice since I haven't purchased from them before, but I might be pretty soon.

I got the 10% from the KDMF. And, LOL...I needed to chill this AM. I'm much less cranky now. And in fact, they called while we were at dd's dance class & said there was some weird thing in the system that was causing snafus & when I call back, we'll just do it on the phone & it'll be all good. Gotta love that! :thumbsup:

I keep watching the site to make sure the RN65 stays on sale (have to try it out this Friday), and now it says it's backordered. BUMMER!! :(

I'll be honest....I wanted to give them my business, but the item wasn't in stock...even though it said so online. And since I NEED it by next Friday, I went with Elitecarseats.

They were super helpful, though. Had I been able to wait....I would have done so. I'd definately recommend them though, with no hesitation!

I guess I'm not surprised, it was a great price so they probably sold out quickly. It's still a bummer though. I can't wait either, I'm replacing DD's current seat and the manufacturer is waiting for me to send back the straps from the EFTA... so I definitely need something in stock with fast shipping since we don't have a spare seat.

Did you find a coupon code for elitecarseats.com? I can't find one.

Nope....elitecarseats just had the Go on sale...I didn't even look for a coupon code or anything. I thought I was getting a decent deal anyway, so I just went for it!

I have received great customer service from HipMonkey. They do not stock all items, however the drop ship times are very fast when coming directly from the mfg. If the item is not in stock, you may want to ask about having the item drop shipped!
