(Sorry this is a repeat of an unregistered post waiting to be approved. I'm on a different computer than the one I have my password saved too and was too lazy to look it up. :p)

I can't find anything in the manual saying one way or another.

Nope. It's just there for "comfort"

IMO it was useless and a pain in the butt. It came out the day we bought it.

Cool, AJ kept messing with it so I tried it without and he didn't want to get out of the seat. LOL

I have pics too, just waiting for DH to get off the laptop so I can upload them. I installed it after he went to bed though, so no pics of him in it in the car yet, but I must say I didn't think there was a seat that would install more solid than my EFT, but oh my, this one is a dream. I'm in . I like that the sides are a little lower too so it will be easier to get him in and out.

Now just have to decide whether to ditch the AOE in my mom's car for my EFT or the Scenera in DH's van and put the EFT in his van. I'm kinda thinking my mom will be puzzled with the harness on the EFT for some reason. It took DH a while to "get" how it works. Go figure.
