Does anyone know how the Radian XT fits in comparison to the regular Radian? We can't get the Radian XT locally, so we would have to do mail order, and I want to make sure it fits in our car (98 Subaru, centre fit) before I purchase anything on-line. I was going to try out the Regular Radian here, and if it works, purchase the Radian on-line (I'm in Canada too).
Thanks!

All the Radian models fit in the car the same way. (There is a new base now, which enables them to be a bit more upright than with the old base.)
There are stores where you can purchase return shipping insurance for about $5-7, so you're not out as much if you have to return it. That might be an option for you, or stores like Wal-Mart or Target will let you buy online and return to store if it doesn't work.

We drive a 98 Subaru Legacy Brighton and a 98 Subaru Outback, both wagons.
Because we are in Canada, our sources of the car seats are limited...

It should fit fine outboard, but Radians in the center of Subies are tricky, to say the least. If you feel you need it in the center, I would definitely purchase return shipping insurance.
