Okay so we are fitting three seats in our Xterra, a regent and two radians. One of the radians is RF but in our car we dont have a lower anchor to use, they only have it in the back for FF seats, we are worried it wont be as safe if it is not tethered to the ground. How do we insure a tight fit without it being tethered?
thanks

rear facing seats don't need to be tethered to be secure. That being said, Sunshine Kids is one of the two brands that allow you to tether rear facing. It's a bit different than the ff tether. You use the tether connector strap (aka d-ring) that came with the Radian. It's usually packaged with the rf foot. There are instructions in the manual. Basically, you wrap it around something metal, immovable and anchored to the vehicle frame- the front seat legs usually work well.

Glad you got it. You can tether to the seat in front when the Radian is RFing. I am way beyond slow with this though.
this is the D-strap hooked around the seat track. I am not including the pic of the tether attached to it because the hook is not facing the right way. Not sure if this will help you or not.
