Honda and Center LATCH borrowing

I'm sorry if this has been addressed already! But I was doing some reading about borrowing LATCH anchors in Honda's...I read a thread on here somewhere that they were possibly reconsidering their stance if there was standard spacing (like on the Accord). Has this been officially resolved? I have a friend borrowing anchors in a 2005 Accord, and I don't want to say something if it's okay. Thanks so much!!! :)

The newest LATCH manual says it's still not allowed. :(

Honda has officially said No. They have not changed their mind about this.

Your friend needs to reinstall using the seatbelt, or switch to an outboard install.
