Wow, now that's an expensive recall - replacing the entire seat if it's affected. Wow!

We actually received our Signo from Katherine in Jan 08, so we're safe. Whew.

strange that the recall only applies to feb-sep 08 builds. i had to have recaro replace our oct 07 signo for the same reason!!!!! :o

I'm confused Arly. Do you have another Signo? I wonder why you got a recall letter? Isn't yours (now mine) 11/07?? This says 2008 only


Should I be worried?

Just thought I'd chime in and say that I also got a recall letter and my DOM is 11/07. I have yet to 'test' mine for the defect as it's our spare and we were leaving for vacation when we received it.

this is weird. i have two 10/07 signos and haven't gotten recall letters. if you read my earlier post in this thread, i mentioned that i contacted recaro about a slipping adjuster strap on a 10/07 signo (i even took a video of it and sent it to them as proof). they sent me a replacement 10/07 signo. i wonder if some signos earlier than 2/08 were affected???
