how do you tell the difference?

i just got the volo. i'm quite impressed BTW.
all i know is that ones from europe (or whatever place) is only to 33lbs & the US to 55lbs. but i don't understand how you know from looking at it.
& is there any structural differences that make it so much different to have such a varying weight limits

can you help me here.
it came with serial # so that must be a good sign

A US seat will have a sticker on it that says it meets FMVSS safety standards.

Where did you get the seat?

From what I understand, they only test strollers to 33 pounds in Europe, so you won't find one that has a higher weight limit, kwim? but most Europeans will stroll with bigger kids, so don't worry about it.

Or probably a JPMA sticker if it's US (I don't think it's crash tested to FMVSS standards ;)). No structural differences, they are all made in China :)

Whoops, thought it was a carseat, not a stroller.

oh good so no big deal if i can't find US ANYWHERE in the stroller. i saw a tag for that said "maclaren england" on the hood & a sticker on one of the bars that had their england adress on it. so i assume no biggie. i don't wanna deal with a return if it doesn't make a difference either way. thanks
