Since this stroller is asked about so much I thought it would be great to put all of the great info about this stroller into one thread.

The stroller is made by the company http://www.babyjogger.com/ This company specializes in True high-performance Jogging strollers (Typical True Jogger features: larger wheels, air tires, fixed front tire, fixed handlebar, hand-brake, overall length of stroller longer, leash, one piece frames.)

However, they do have a line of strollers called the "The City Series" (http://babyjogger.com/cityserieslanding.htm). This is not to be confused with their "Performance Series" (http://babyjogger.com/performancemain.htm) line of strollers which are for joggers, and hard core runners. The city series are great for city dwellers, shopping, parks, zoos, paved roads, and some off-road use.

The City Series consists of 3 different models of strollers, the "City Mini," (http://babyjogger.com/cityminimain.htm) the "City Classic," (http://babyjogger.com/cityclassicmain.htm) and the "City Elite." (http://babyjogger.com/cityelitemain.htm) They all come in a double sbs(side by side) stroller. All of the city series strollers are essentially on the same frame, except the Mini has generous 8inch plastic wheels vs. the large 12inch air filled tires on the Elite, and Classic.

All of these strollers also have the Baby Jogger Quick Fold Technology. Just simply lift up on the handles in the seat, and voila the stroller folds easily in half like a book.

NONE of the City Series strollers are intended for jogging purposes. The City Classic, and City Elite are all-terrain strollers, whereas the City Mini is an urban terrain stroller.

Lovinwaves, can you address why someone might want/need the classic or the elite over the mini? Do the tires make much of a difference if it's not used for jogging anyway?

After reading so many posts about this stroller, I'm beginning to think I *need* it

Thanks for the thread!
