I am looking at the Mac Techno Classic on craigslist because I really love the lilac plaid cover on the 2006 model that I saw on ebay. Would a 2006 cover fit on a 2004 techno classic. Is the techno classic any good? Is $100 a good deal for the stroller? If I get it what parts would I need to buy to get it to look like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=300295888097

Here are the strollers I am looking at:

DH really doesn't want me to spend more than $200 on the stroller. I just really want a lightweight purple stroller that either my 10 month old or my 47 pound 4.5 year old can ride in comfortably.

I have the exact one in the second pictures and love it. I use mine all the time for Peyton and he's right at 40lbs and it still pushes like a dream. The only thing I don't like is the canopy is broken, but I've been told that it's a common thing and they'll send you a new one for free I just haven't got around to it.

And I paid $125 for mine shipped off of someone here and it was practically brand new, it still had all the accessories and the handles still had plastic on them.

What is the differences between it and the techno xt? I website I found said the seat was only rated to 34 pounds on the classic.

Do you think a classic cover would fit on a techno frame?

All macs are rated to 55lbs except for the xlr which is 65lbs so I have no idea what they're talking about. As far as I know there's no difference between the classic and the xt, the xlr has the higher weight limit and is carseat compatible.
