Maclaren Twin frame... sturdy?

I have a Maclaren Quest and when it's folded it's very firm and sturdy. I'm in the market for a Maclaren Twin, and at at baby resale store near me they have a 2006 Maclaren Twin Techno. The wheels are great, rides smoothly. But when I folded it up the clasps to keep it locked/closed where loose and didn't catch to keep it locked easily....if that makes since.
Also the frame when picking it up (closed) was wobbly/loose feeling as I carried it around the store.
Is this normal? I've never had a double stroller before, and I'm not able to test out a new Maclaren twin anywhere to compare. Thank you!

My Twin Techno isn't like that at all! In fact, it's so "tight" that I have a hard time unfolding it (gotta put a ton of pressure with your foot to pop it open). I have a Volo that's pretty sturdy, but this Techno is MUCH tighter. . not rickety at all.
