When selling a seat?

So I am assuming everyone registers their new car seats right? What do you do when you decide that you want to sell it and its already been registered to you? Or when you buy a used seat that is already registered??

You can usually get on the manufacturer's website and register online, even if the seat has been registered to someone else. Or call their 800 number and register over the phone.

britax is the only one where each seat has it's own individual number... so if it's already registered, it's the job of the original owner to pass on any updates or fixes...

if you know that you might not keep the seat... don't register it until you are sure.

You can't just change one seat over... if you want to change the address for one seat, it will change them for all, which is nice if you are just moving, but is a pain if it's a seat you've passed on.
