Can someone tell me where to find the DOM on a Recaro Como?

it's on a sticker on the bottom of the base (as in, flip it over). IIRC, it's not in standard mm/dd/yyyy format.

it says 331.01.mm14 do you know what that means?

The first line at the top of the sticker says
MD 0070706

Which would mean July 06 2007 in Recaro speak.

then the numbers underneath are the Model/serial number.

I had to write it all down and reported it all.

mine wasnt on the bottom of the seat wither. Dont know why. I found it on the registration card.

it is affected by the recall (http://www.recaro.com/fileadmin/extensions/rec_usa/pdf/Recalls_and_Consumer_Advisories/NHTSA_letter.pdf). strange that it's not on the seat anymore since you'd have no clue if the registration card wasn't there.

If it has the rubber caps on the connector than I think its fine. Mine was 11/07 but has the caps. The recall was for all made before 12/07

The sticker on the bottom with the name and color is COVERING the DOM. I just peeled mine off out of curiosity and low and behold, there was the DOM. They must have put it over when they installed the recall update. Dumb place though. I would suggest you write the date on it some where. Maybe on top of the new sticker :)

I keep thinking it was somewhere else on the seat too.

The DOM is on a label on the outside of the Recaro box if you still have your box, too. :)

It is also stamped into the back of the seat, three different stamps for month, day and year (going down) in the center between the harness straps holes.
