My husband is about to pull his hair out with the harness adjuster. :hitselfonhead:We just don't feel like we can get the straps tight enough. I love everything else about this seat, but we HAVE to solve this problem. Help! We're going to try taking out the seat and putting DS in and tightening, re-install, and then try to put him in without adjusting because it's an infinity (something tells me this isn't the right term) harness. Any other suggestions? Is it possible that we don't have it installed correctly? TIA.

I don't have a vibe, but several people have suggested that you check to see if the harness straps are on the shorter loops where they connect to the splitter plate in the back. It seems to help so that plate doesn't get stuck where the shell curves at the bottom. Another thing to try, pull the straps tight at the hips after fastening, then pull the slack out of the shoulders from the back before pulling the adjuster strap. Once it is adjusted, I don't loosen ehen putting the child in or out, just pull one side loose to put the arm in, then pull to the other side for the second arm and even the straps before fastening. That is the easy part of the continuous harness system. Hope that helps.
