We have a Blvd FF outboard on the back bench of our '06 Odyssey installed with the seatbelt (no LATCH available). It's a firm install side-to-side, but if I pull at the base of the seat toward the front of the van, it slides forward easily by an inch or so. Is this acceptable? I've tried changing the incline of both the carseat and the bench seat, and neither seems to help. The seatbelt lock-off on the carseat is up (where it's supposed to be), but it doesn't seem to hold the belt tight. The belt ratchets, though, so I don't think that's a problem. Anything else I can try before I take it to the tech? TIA!

Have you reclined the bench seat, installed the car seat tightly, then bring the bench seat back up to the upright position????

This worked for me when I installed some seats in an Oddysey...

I haven't had any trouble installing my daughter's FF Marathon in my '06 Ody. (The Marathon has the same frame/belt path as the Blvd.) I do always use the lockoffs, however. If your lockoffs aren't working properly, you can get replacements from Britax.
