I plan on calling a Chevy dealer about this, but I'm prepared to have them not know what I'm talking about, or giving me wrong information!

I have a 2001 Suburban, 60/40 bench second row. I know that I have TA's for all 3 2nd row positions, and only a center TA in the third row. I currently have a Marathon and Frontier installed in the second row, both FF and anchored. We're expecting #3, and would love to move the Marathon and Frontier to the 3rd row, leave the one seat in the second row down for 3rd row access, and have the infant seat and one extra passenger seat in the 2nd row.

I have searched and searched but can't find what I'm looking for. Can either or both of the outboard positions in the 3rd row of a 2001 Burb be retrofitted with TA's? And if so, does anyone know the part numbers? Apparently my model year is just outside of the window for the one free retrofit from GM...which leads me to believe that maybe mine can be retrofitted, even if I have to pay for it?

Thank you so much, anyone who can help!

According to the 2005 LATCH manual (all I have at home), Chevy will NOT retrofit tether anchors in vehicles that already have some installed. This is pretty standard between car makers - cars that have tether anchors generally cannot have more installed.

Its possible that EZon may be able to provide you with their "heavy duty tether anchors." Perhaps another poster has more information on those.
