i'm looking at the maclaren volo/triumph and silver cross micro/pop... they look awefully similar. i was wondering if any one has both brands and what you think about them?
also, what's the difference btw quest and triumph?

I actually have both the silver cross micro and maclaren triumph right now :o I can take some side by side pictures for you if you want?
I like the maclaren better so far

OK, my maclaren is the quest not the triumph (sorry) but here is my comparison:
Silver cross is slightly lighter, they are both easy to fold/open, both have equally tall handles, the maclaren has nicer fabric. The model is a petite 3y/o:

I had a silver cross mini in the Ascot pattern. I'd take that upgrade over the micro any day. 12lbs, seat reclined, tall handle bars... held dd comfortably until she was about 45" & 43lbs. Solid, but lightweight.
I don't think they make the model anymore. But my friend who I sold it to, is still my friend and is in total love with the thing. :D
This is 6'3 dh & dd was about 42", about to turn 4 years old. We removed the hood that day. Wasn't wanted.

I like the recline on the quest better because it is 2 leavers on the side and not a pull cord on the back. If I was going to buy a maclaren single I would buy a quest.

off topic... is that germany in the background, morganthe?
hmm.... this makes it difficult. so should i get a triumph, quest or mini? i want something lightweight (b/c we already have a phil & ted and a pliko) that will accomodate a little one all the way up to a 4yo (i don't know who will sit in it)... the phil & ted will take 2 kids fine but now i have a third one and i'm sure on long trips, the older kids may not want to walk. i borrowed my friend's triumph last year when i took my son to disneyland and i liked how light it was, but she gave it away and not to me... :(. the only problem was it tipped when i hanged stuff off the handle but i can live with that as long as it steers well (up to 40-50 lbs) and lightweight.

:ROTFLMAO:
If you have a B&T double, not sure about your older kids walking or riding... take a soft backpack carrier for your smallest, such as Patapum, Ergo, or Beco. That setup provides flexibility and yet not having to deal with loads of gear. :shrug-shoulders:

and if you want a pop... let me know... it's great... it has an almost full recline, so it's good for newborn and up.
I'll sell it for 50+shipping (I paid 100 for it and it retails for 199.00)
you can pm me for pics if you are interested.
