Info on Chicco Liteway stroller?

Does anyone have or has seen this stroller in person?

I'm looking at the Maclaren Triumph for my 7 month old for all-walking/no car vacation in the Bahamas next month & saw the Liteway online & it looks very comparable. Anyone know anything about it? How heavy is it? Are the wheels close together like the Chicco Capri?
Any info is helpful - including a store I could test it out ANYWHERE in Eastern Massachusetts. Thanks! :)

Well, since this thread got no action I called Chicco CS this morning.

They were pretty useless, to be honest. :thumbsdown: They couldn't tell me which stores would physically have it as a floor model OR which stores near me even had it on order. The CS rep suggested I call the baby stores in my area to ask if they'll be getting them in & when. :mad:

Why wouldn't they want to tell me where to test it out? Isn't it in their best interest?

If ANYONE has seen this thing, please let me know about it!!!

I have seen that one and wasn't very fond of it. I was looking for a lightweight stroller and was looking at the Chicco and the Maclaren - neither of which I liked much. The Liteway seemed a little flimsy and I hated the front wheels - overall just wasn't impressed.

I did a little more research and found a closeout deal on a Peg Perego Pliko Lite - and I LOVE it. It weighs a tad more than the Chicco or Mac, BUT not too much. It actually folds up a little more compact in my opinion. It reclines, has an adjustable foot rest, parent cupholder, and a useable storage basket (it is easily accessed from the sides or front), it also has a storage pocket on the back of the hood, the hood itself provides good sun coverage....I really cannot say enough about this stroller. This model was discontinued in the US but is still available in Europe...here is a link to one of the stores that sells it, check it out I am sure you won't be dissapointed :)
