Best deal on Wooly nylon thread?

I need to get some rainbow colored wooly nylon serger thread.
My SIL told me it's $7.99 at Joanns! Yikes, I need 2 spools of it!
It's about $6 on a cloth diaper supply site I found it on.
Is it cheaper anywhere else?
It just sucks to have to pay so much for it when I'm only going to need it for the edges of 24 inserts, and thats it, I don't have a serger, I will probably never use it again. Thats only for my SIL's serger loopers too, I have to get 2 spools of white maxi lock thread for the needles as well!

Find 2 friends that have 40% off Joanns coupons. They come in every flyer. I believe our Joanns except Michaels coupons too. You can only use one coupon at a time so you'd need to go in twice or take DH and each buy 1.

No, I'm going to sew bamboo french terry, bamboo fleece, and bamboo double terry (just around the edges, not sewn together or anything)

Also, the variegated thread (multi colored) is more expensive than the solid colors, so I'd just get solids if I were you. Solid is $6 a spool, variegated is $8. Sure it may not look as cutesy, but who cares it will be inside the diapers anyway. Plus, they have tons of pretty solid colors.

At my JoAnne's they have flyers in the front of the store and normally there is a 40% coupon in each of them.

They were just sitting up by the register when I checked out. It's not a coupon, just a little cardboard thing that shows what they have on sale, which is pretty much everything. I'm going back this weekend to get the rest of the fabric I need:D
