Would you happen to have a picture of it?? I'm curious what they look like in real life.

I'm not sure if I want to order just the RF magnet or get the extended harness one too.

Here you go. And FTR, I've gotten a lot of positive comments about it! (But it IS really green & yellow!)

I was just looking at mine yesterday and noticing how clean and new it still looks with all the dirty snow, I think it's a year old. I have yet to have anyone comment on it

HOLY CRAP! I was going to order one of the rear facing ones, but $4 to ship a bumper sticker????? No thanks. I'm not paying $5 for a sticker and another $4 to ship it.

It was the best money ever spent.
I have gotten so many questions about the magnet. It got alot of kids back in harnesses or properly restrained. It is worth the 9.00 or whatever it was.

I need to get another one, because we had some people go through in the summer and steal magnets off cars

I don't have one yet, but it's on my list of things to get. My mom has asked me to get her a CPS bumper sticker, so maybe I'll get her one too. She is a good advocate too! :D

:yeahthat: It is a lot for shipping, but they do send it out FedEx or UPS I think. Plus..let's be honest...they aren't into this to make a profit. If my shipping fee was actually a donation of a few bucks to KDM...I'm 100% cool with that. And I have gotten lots of comments on it...so if that spreads the word, I'm cool with the fees. I mean...I blow $4 on a mocha...why not on something more important?!

I just got a rear facing one. I was shocked at the shipping too, but whatever, I got it anyways! :) I would get the EH one.. but I won't really have any kids that are EH for awhile. I only get 3 and under. People would look in my car and see 2 RF seats!

I got mine with a t-shirt so I guess I didn't notice the shipping.

I love the t-shirts, they are very well made! :-) My son's love their turtle shirt. I feel silly michael wearing the 5-point harness one since he is in a booster(darn, car sickness), but it still gets the point across.
His one friend's mom asked me about his shirt the other day and what it meant(she volunteers in his class). She put her 6 year old, 38 pounder back into a harness(graco nautilus). :-)

I ordered the rear facing magnet.

I can't wait to see how it looks on the back of my car!

Can anyone explain the sizing on the t-shirts to me? I can't figure it out. I must be tired.

That's why I really wish they (or cafe press) made those vinyl die cuts for windows. I would have paid $15 for a decal, just because I like them so much better.

I've seen other CPS bumper stickers, but does anyone else make CPS car magnets? Not that I don't want to support KDM.... I was just wondering if there are other magnetic choices.

I agree, I prefer window clings better. I worry about the magnets fading the paint on the car (although that would take a LONG time to do), so I move it around on the back of my SUV. I move it about every 2 months or so.

But, I MUCH prefer window clings & wish I could find them!

Well, I don't blow $4 on mocha so maybe that is why I hate throwing away money on shipping. It is great they use FedEx or UPS, but it is unnecessary. A magnet could be dropped in an envelope and shipped for $1. It is kind of like Britax charging $9 to ship HUGS. Yeah, they send it UPS, but I don't want to have to pay for their poor choice in carriers.

Why doesn't someone buy a bunch of them and sell them to members and mail them by letter mail? That way Canadians can get them too at a fair price. (As long they will stay on the vehicles here in this bitter cold, snowy and icy weather) Any comments....
I know someone did a squeaky shoe co op before. Just a thought.....

I'd be willing to do this. I was thinking about buying some (1 ERF and 1HWH). Should we start a new thread to check for interest?

OR - We could have someone design a cool vinyl diecut sticker to be custom made. The price would be somewhere between $6-$9 for like 50, plus shipping to whoever does the order. Then that person shipping to everyone who wants one.

Hi,

I had 4 of these magnets on my van. A set of Rf & HWH ones on the back & one set on the side door, I really wanted to get the message out about car seat safety!

Anyways 1 fell off the back, the RF one that I had only had maybe 2 months. I think it was from the cold snowy conditions here in the northeast. The others started to peel up on the sides, like the magnet wasn't working anymore. So I have taken the others off until spring gets here. The HWH I have had since they came out & they have black tiny spots all over them now.

So I don't think they hold up that well in the winter. Plus the sand from the road gets all behind the magnet too.

I wish they had a window decal too!

True, but again....if I'm "overpaying" for shipping, & it is actually a donation to KDM, I'm okay with that. I'm surprised anyone concerned with spreading the word about CPST would have a problem with KDM making a few extra bucks. What they are doing is admirable & it's not as if they are in this to make a profit. :twocents:

So I just got my DKM RF magnet. It was shipped USPS in an envelope and the stamp says it costs 57 cents and I paid $4 for shipping. Whatever I guess.. I have my magnet!

No, because I hand wash my vehicles ;-)

Plus, my neighbors were all talking and laughing about the magnet theif! I wonder what they did with them all? LOL!

No one has bought the kids' t-shirts? I can't figure out whether I need a small or x-small.

Oh, and I think I'd rather they say "free shipping" and charge $10 for the magnet, to make it clear that it's a donation. That would be more honest to my mind and more likely to get my business.

I am sorry, I missed your question before.

I have ordered 2 shirts. My son is a size Small and their xs is huge! I would order a size under. That is just me though.

Well, the shipping thing is weird. I know mine came either UPS or FedEx & was definately around $3-4. I'm wondering if it depends on where you live in the US. Still....in the grand scheme of things...a few bucks isn't a big deal to me, but it is to them, KWIM?

2mykids

I think they should charge $10 for the magnet and say "free shipping."

Done and done.
I don't care if they say the bumper sticker is $2 and shipping will be $7 and then it arrives with a non-profit free shipping post on it. I feel like $9 is a price I will happily pay for their magnet However they want to label the pricing is up to them.
Maybe they realize $5 is a price most people feel is a good price for a magnet and they need to call it $4 shipping just to get that few extra bucks to make the whole deal worth it for them. Whatever, it's not Ebay.
