No more GN Rachel at Target?

Last I looked (yes, stalking Target's site) the Rachel was on sale for quite a good price. Now it isn't listed at all. :eek:

Does anyone know if Target is no longer offering the Rachel GN or if it's a situation that when something is out of stock it doesn't appear on the Target website? This particular carseat was only available online, not in stores. I was planning to get one recently, but the shipping time was 2-6 weeks, which gave me pause.

I see that it is gone. Also the True Fit prices went back up to $179.99.

My guess is that it's sold out. When the Nauti fwent on sale on Target's site about 6 mos ago, it sold out & they pulled it off the site for a while. Keep checking!

That's odd that it disappeared. I know I saw it on their site only a couple hours ago. I'm guessing that there's some delay on releasing that pattern. Hopefully it will be back up soon.

It's odd - the Marley pattern looks very similar, only a bit less pink and more purple/pink. If the Rachel is a new release, I wonder if it's a situation like with the Radian XT Malibu, where the promotional pictures of the seat really didn't look the final version (promotional ones were much more red while the released version is much more pepto-pink). Just a theory. It seems strange to release two such similarly colored girly seats at around the same time.

I know that the GN came out around February of 2008; how often does Graco offer new versions of the GN (covers only - I've also been following the Elite series - what an upcharge for a few added features!)? Wonder if we'll ever see a patterned girly cover that is more exuberant and less subtle than the Mariposa?

when things are out of stock on target's site... they disappear... I'm sure it will be back when they get more in.

if you search the board for the direct link, it might work, though, and just show it out of stock.

Yes, I see the grey and tan difference, but the pinks also look different to me. The one with grey looks pepto-pink while the one with tan seems more like a purple-pink. Hmmm.

It just looks like a lighting/contrast difference to me.

That's a good sign! Here's the link: http://www.gracobaby.com/Search%20Results/Pages/Search.aspx?search=nautilus I guess they are, in fact, completely different seats. DD1 likes the pink and gray one, and she doesn't waffle, so that's always encouraging.

seeing them sbs on the graco site makes me see the difference in pinks, but when I bring them up and go to the little squares that shows all colors used,the pinks look the same.

either way, I think Rachel looks better than Miley, unless you have tan vehicle seats.
