Is there a thread on current/upcoming sales or deals on carseats in Canada? I'm looking at a safeseat. My dd (7 mo, 21 lbs) has EFTA in both ours and my mom's vans, which are great, but I need something at home for emergencies (I don't drive) and the safeseat will click into my p3 so she can face me while out and about in our neighbourhood.

The only current deal I know of is $10 off 100 on sears online. Anything else??

The SafeSeat is being replaced by the SnugRide32 (looks like the safeseat but with a 32lb limit) I believe... they did have the SafeSeat on sale at TRU (and stores). I checked TRU online and they don't have the safeseat on there anymore but they do have the SnugRide32 (says it isn't available yet).... maybe check in a TRU store near you and see what they have. It was on for $149 last I saw.

ETA: are you just looking for a seat to use with your p3 or will you be using the seat in the car?

I too would keep an eye out at TRU. They should be clearing out the SS1 here pretty quick I would think. I know I got my French Roast about 4mos ago for $149, free shipping.

Mostly it is for a spare emergency seat because I don't drive. We will use it for our next infant in a couple years or so too. So at home I will use it in the meantime as a seat for her in the bathroom when I'm showering or whatever, and in the stroller so she can face me (whenever I'm not carrying her, which is most of the time). Also my 43 lb dd's cargo is expiring, so if I haven't decided on a new seat for her yet (probably Radian, but we have to get a new vehicle soon, so I'm waiting), I can put her in the EFTA and my youngest in the Safeseat. Clear as mud?? LOL

The French Roast SS1 sale ended on Jan 30. Watch for something again mid-March; the new catalog will launch then, and I bet there will be a coupon in the back.

I believe the warehouse stock of the French Roast SS1 is gone as well and depending on sales the stock of local stores may be limited quite a bit. I'm not sure that we can expect to see it on sale again before stores are sold out?

No no, I know that :P I know the french roast is discontinued.

I mean, watch for the new catalog in March, there is always a Graco coupon of some sort. And to watch for the new seats to come out then.

Ah, ok. :) I thought maybe there was another sale date in the system and I just didn't know it. :o

I'm looking forward to the new catalog, and the new coupons. :thumbsup:
