Can you buy a longer crotch piece for Radian

I am finding it a little difficult to buckle my son into his Radian, and even with him sitting all the way back, the crotch piece is usually sitting almost under him. As he gets older he is not going to like that.

Wonder if i can buy an extender or just one with a longer strap anywhere in Vancouver, or do any Canadian retailers sell it on-line?

Last I heard a longer crotch strap was not available for the Radian in Canada. They do make a longer one for US seats, but the last update I heard was that it wasn't approved for use with CDN seats.

Do you have the buckle adjusted to the forward position? How old is your ds? Kids generally thin out in terms of crotch space once they're out of diapers. :thumbsup:

thanks for the info - he will be 5 in April, so he has done all the thinning out he is going to do, and yes it's in the most forward slot. He still have almost a full inch till he his shoulder meet the top slot on the shoulder strap, so i am really hoping to have him in the seat for another year or so.
