Why does the Nautilus have a recline feature? I did not think you should ever recline in the FFing position...?

Some recline, the sort that follows the natural curve of the hips and spine when seated, is perfectly all right, for most typically developing children.

I was trying to figure out why they have this feature as well... I think it may make the install better depending on the curve of the vehicle seat. Other than that I have no idea and it sort of bugs me that they didn't really address it in the manual for parents.

I called graco and they advised that this feature is NOT for the comfort of the child, but rather to adjust the position of the seat to ensure a good tight fit in many seat types. You should not use the recline feature unless you can't get a tight fit without it.
