BV CS adjuster issues?

Another tech was installing a BV CS for someone today and said that it's impossible to tighten the harness RF.

She said that the harness release has a new design, and the harness adjuster gets caught on it when tightening.

She said it's fine when uninstalled or when FF--it's only problematic when RF.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I've only had contact with two BV CS, both were RFing installed with LATCH. Neither had an issue with tightening... one did click a little earlier than I would like, but the other one clicked at the appropriate tightness. Both were for babies that had outgrown buckets... approx. 7 - 8 months old and 16 - 18lbs.

The tech just told me that one of her co-workers (also a tech) had the same issue with another BV CS today.

No one else has had a problem? (It seems like it would have been mentioned here if it was a widespread thing... but these are very knowledgeable, VERY experienced techs, so I'm inclined to believe them.)

The only problem we had was the click happening before the harness was tight. Of course, for me, the click never happen, and that harness was over tight.
