Pretty much. You can't get the cover off without pulling the shoulder straps out - unless you can get to the splitter plate without taking your seat out, I think you're hooped.

Yeah, I'm pretty positive you'll need to take it out even if it's installed RF. In my mind it would be more work to try to wrestle the over off and on without uninstalling than it would be to uninstall and reinstall.

At least the more often you install it, the easier it gets!

ugg thanks i suppose lol
when i got this seat, i hated it lol I tried and tried for over an hour and it was OK with latch, i tried belt, locking clip, every trick etch. I was ready to order a Britax.
I got it in there, wanted a less angle, got a car seat tech to help, it is was in there perfect but still wasn't the best for the passenger.
Older dd (14) and I went away for the weekend and moved the Radin in the middle for baby dd, first time with a seat belt and we got it on second try. Older dd helped me.
Now i got my new cover and it is in there sooo nicely, guess older dd and I have a project to do and i should probably vaccum all the cheerios baby dd spilt under the seat too lol
