recline for a RFing 12m in a Scenera

I have read somewhere that a 45 degree recline may not be preferred if your child is older then 6 months. I have a 12m old rfing in a MA and a Scenera. How much recline do you suggest? Also should I lean the seat up again the passenger seat or not have them touch?

As upright as 30 degrees is fine as long as your child has good enough neck control not to flop her head.
Britax allows bracing on the front seat, but check your vehicle owner's manual--some have air bag sensors in the seat backs and you can't let the CR touch the vehicle seat in that case.
