BRU doesn't price match.

Yup, they do ;)

You need to have hard proof in hand of the same product being a lower price (covers have to match, same model number, whatever it is you're buying), and it may not apply to online prices (so they could match something that's 219 at the store down the road, but not the 199 online).

Our local BRU doesn't price match. Is it a company wide policy or does it vary by region?

Here in Massachusetts, the policy is something that they just started advertising in-store. Not sure if it was always this way & you had to be persistent or if this is a new policy. Their return policy changed dramatically in August, so maybe this is to compensate in some way?:scratcheshead:

i think it's nationwide b/c i got a mailer about their price match policy. it only matches competitor price (store, not online) with an ad and that's after coupons, sales, etc.

I also got a flyer in the mail recently with coupons and a notice of their price matching policy. That leads me to believe it is a nationwide policy change.

I've gotten them to price match an online price, but I think it was at the manager's discretion. They had their WZ on sale when they were discontinued 4-5 yrs ago, but it was only about $20 off. (BRU always seems to barely discount and call it a clearence...) Anyway, I had the add for $199 plus free shipping from an online store for the same seat with the same cover. The manager matched it. She probably just wanted to get rid of it- but I was happy.

R&J's mom, the BRU down the road from us doesn't price match, because they go under TRU's policies, not BRU policies, you go up to glendale, they DO price match there (or so i've been told)

(just like the BRU next to me didn't take my BPA bottles, and then glendale one did  )

It is company policy, although I don't know how it works if it is a side by side.

To a point, it is also manager's discretion.
