She's coming from a Diplomat, which she was very uncomfortable in over the last few weeks.

I can't believe how HUGE and SMALL this seat is (confusing, right?)!!! The interior room of this seat will give her plenty of room and we may not even need to buy another seat for a very, very long time. This seat does not interfere with the front seats at all, whereas the Britax was all up into both front seats. It's unreal, considering this seat is SO much taller than the Blvd and the Diplomat.

I had so many reservations about this seat due to the lack of a RF tether that I passed it up last year and bought two Roundabouts as my spares. Boy, was I wrong about this seat.

The fabric is plush and easily as high quality as the Britax. This seat is 100x easier to install and Britax needs to take a hint with the belt lock-offs.

I was dead set on buying a Britax Multi Tech this time around but I know for certain that I made the right decision by buying the True Fit. We weren't in a position to justify that much money on importing a seat, when we needed two seats anyhow.

I am going now to pre-order the True Fit with the ARB for my car and we'll be putting this one in DH's car.

Did I mention when DD saw the seat she said, "Ooooooooh!!!" and didn't scream her head off when I put her in!

The only thing that needs to be revised about this seat is the harness adjuster location. It is buried beneath the seat and a PITA to access. Also, a bubble level will be much appreciated (but comes with the Premiere so they already got that one covered.)

I am now a believer in the True Fit. This seat gives Britax a major run for their money. I've had 4 Britax seats and in no way am I second guessing going to a non-RF tethered seat. I swore up and down I wouldn't do a non-tethered RF seat but went ahead and bought this on clearance from Target just to try it out.

Needless to say, I'm buying a second one ;)

Looks good! And what a cutie she is! So funny how a clearance affects us:)
The difference in how much space it takes up may have more to do with the angle you got it in at.
The harness adjuster will be easy to access in the ARB version.
It's great that you like the belt lock offs so much, some people have trouble with them.
Yup, it's a nice seat, huh? Glad you like it--way cheaper than bringing over that Multitech!

Glad you love it. :D

Did you try installing FF yet? The car I tried installing FF in, we had issues with the lockoff.

I think she looks BEAUTIFUL, but I already told you that. Oh...you mean the seat? ;) I think you did a great job, mama!

It's an '02 Volvo V70 T5 (wagon). It has the built-in boosters.

I only had a few minutes to focus on the install before I took a much needed nap this afternoon so I didn't get to install it FF yet.

I think ALL carseats should have lockoff's this crazy tight. The Britax ones are laughable at this point :)

ETA: I've just preordered the ARB TF in Cranberry ;) I can't wait to get it!!!

You're daughter looks very comfy in there!

I was like you and swore up and down that I wouldn't get a seat that couldn't tether RF'ing. But, the more I see the true fit and the more raves I hear about it, I find that it's really growing on me. I'm seriously considering getting the ARB one so my son can RF to 35 lbs and give a little more leg room. I'm waiting for their release so I can see if there will be any surprise covers.
