My SIL is in need of a new car seat for my 3 1/2 year old nephew, I have been trying to help her pick one out for months. I just installed 2 radians in my car, and she likes them (or the fact that they look like they will do less damage to her leather than other seats).

Do they install nicely in the trailblazer? I could take one of mine out and try to install it in her vehicle, but I am 8 months pregnant and not looking forward to that. I just managed to install all 3 carseats in my car. Any issues that might pose a problem?

TIA

I put one forward-facing in the center of an 03 Trailblazer. It was a cinch (although I do have some experience with Radian installs.) Really I didn't have problem with anything I tried in that car forward-facing; it was rear-facing seatbelt installs that were a problem.

Is he FF or RF?

I too recently put one in the center of a Trailblazer FF and while the install was made more challenging by it being a 3-across situation, the Radian wasn't tough to install there at all. Worked out pretty nicely.

He is FF, 34.5 lbs and on the shorter side. Sounds like the Radian might be a good contender for her. Thanks for the information. It will be the only car seat installed in the vehicle.

I've had a Radian rf and ff in all 3 spots in my 05 Envoy (Trailblazer). It's been in 3 across, side by side or independant. It was a cinch.
