I am talking to my bil and he just switched his dd ff'ing in her fpsvd. She is outboard in their '99 Mercury Mountaineer. He can't find TA info in the manual.
Does it have them or does he need to get them installed?
Thanks

he needs to get them installed, but according to the LATCH manual Ford/Mercury will do it for free under program R7C.
There are three drill dimples in the floor of the cargo area and the part number is F17Z 78613D74-A.

what year do they have? Model years 2000 and newer came with TAs. Also, they may have mistaken cargo hooks for tether anchors. If that's the case, they need to stop using them right away.
He has a 99 and has told me point blank to never talk to him about car seats, so I'm pretty sure he told me he has them to shut me up
