Would anyone have an idea where the top tether anchors are in a 2007 PT Cruiser and a 2007 Chevy HHR? I'd like to have an idea before we test drive them if possible.
TIA!!!! (I'm sorry I've got so many vehicle questions lately).

from the LATCH manual-
PT Cruiser- 3 TAs on the backs of the seats and the lower anchors are spaced so that you can use them for either two outboard or one center installations (but not all 3 at the same time). I'm assuming you don't want the 2 door, but I'll mention that it doesn't have a center seat.
HHR- 3 TAs in the storage compartment behind the seat. Lift the lid to find the TAs. you may also have to fold back the cargo mat. Lower anchors for outboard seats only (based on the recent info that GM is no longer allowing borrowing across the board).

I spoke to a friend that works for GM corp. and from him the response GM did away with the borrowing is because there are very few CSR manufactures that allow borrowing with less/more then the 280mm. The felt that since most parents/techs may not know this or follow this that they decided to do away with that policy due to safety risks. Ex: Tech following the LATCH manual that says inner outboard anchors can be used for lower anchor install (or how ever the LATCH manual words it) but install a Chicco that doesn't allow borrowing if less/more then FMVSS requirements. Also Graco doesn't allow more then the 280mm. I am only aware of Britax that allows borrowing. Some more CSR manufactures don't allow then do.
Now I am not sure if this is 100% accurate but just what I have heard.
