I need some guidance as I am a new mommy and like other mommies- I want to do what is best for my baby. Our daughter was 27.5 inches long and 16 pounds 3 ounces at her 4 month appointment on December 29th. It is a real struggle to get her into her snugride now as her feet hang over the edge and it really crunches down on her shoulders.
My question - is it OK to move her to the Britax Marathon now in a rear-facing position, even though she is only 4 months old?
If you need any additional information to make a judgement on this, please advise.
Thanks all for your guidance!

Yes, it is completely fine to move her to a convertible now if you would prefer it. Infant seats are generally a better fit for newborns, but most babies fit well in convertibles by 3 months, so using an infant carrier after that point is only for convenience.

I moved both of my kiddos into a convertible by 4 months old. No reason not to, as long as the harness can fit "at or below" their shoulders. (For rearfacing.)
