RYS Booster question

Can anyone clarify this for me? I read the brochure that came with my Young Sport, and it said that the seat should be used without a latch in booster mode. My friend has the same booster and said she was absolutely positive that this was a Booster that could be latched and tethered. I'd love any insight!

A question & a couple ideas . . . is your friend's seat perhaps the Recaro Start rather than the Sport? :o The Start does require the top tether, but I do think that 2 of my Sport manuals differed on this issue depending on the year....

Both of you should re-read your manuals just to be sure. Manufacturers have been known to change their recommendations after continued testing or seat upgrades, etc. & newer manuals may or may not apply to older Dates of Manufacture.

Call Recaro's toll free customer service number for clarification because, either way, the manufacturer's advice trumps a friend's advice :thumbsup:
