Okay so know I have another van that is a possible option for me not quite as big as the Dodge that was offered, but if anyone has experiance with a Chevy Astro I would like to know what you think, like my other thread stated I will be needing to install a turbo booster, youngsport, como rf, and evenflo portabout with base. I really think this van would work better then the Dodge. let me know what you know here is the link:

Not sure what your other options are, but this van would be a decent temporary situation. I do not think you'll find any headrests in the rear seating locations, so you'll want your kids to be in high back boosters while you own the vehicle. The frontal offset crash tests put the driver in a fatal condition. I have no idea what the Dodge's ratings are or what year you were looking at. We looked at a 2004 Astro which had the locking latchplate belts and it was difficult to install seats. Also, it only had 3 tether anchor locations- all on side, shoulder belt locations. But, if you need a cheap van to seat everyone it will do the job. I think I'd still prefer my Ford Aerostar. It is also a cheap vehicle. (1997 was the last year made.) It fares better in the crash ratings and comes in an extended version. (I believe the later models are all extended versions.) You still have no headrests, but the belts lock and are fairly reasonable for seat installs. Also, there are 3 tether anchors for the middle row. The van goes cheap and has power to haul as well as the Astro.

Headrests sounds good.
