Dh is due for a new car soon. We have a van but we want something that would fit at least 3 kids maybe more. We currently have 2. He drives a mustang now but want something he could drive us around in also. I was reading it has 2 LATCH locations, but wondering if anyone knows how many tether locations it has.

The 2007 LATCH manual lists the '07 model year CX-9 as having 3 tether anchors in the second row and no tether anchors in the third row. I'm not able to tell you for certain if this is also true for the '08 or '09 model year because the next edition of the LATCH manual covering the more recent models is due out soon, in early 2009. :) Laying hands on the owner's manual for newer ones while shopping at the dealership would verify tether anchor locations.
