Has anyone installed an EFTA RF in a 2000 Durango, or similar year Durango? I'd prefer center 2nd row, but if it's too wide it'd go passenger side 2nd row. I'm concerned about the knobs being difficult to use.

It looks like if the knobs work well, this will be the new seat for DH's durango. He's having issues with tightening the Blvd because it hurts his arm (shattered 4 years ago, 2 surgeries, and 10 screws still in).

I will be trying it out at BRU... but I figured if someone else has already had success or failed.... it might save me some time :)

We have the EFTA, and BIL has a Durango... I think it was a 2001, I know it didn't have LATCH. We installed it in there once when we borrowed his Durango, and didn't have any problems that I recall. Sometimes the red harness release tab (next to the knob) is a little tough to push though... I don't have any problem but someone with an injury might.

I'd still recommend trying it at BRU, and taking DH and the Durango with you if possible, that way you know for sure. If it doesn't work, while you're right there at BRU your DH can try some other seats to see if something works better for him.

Wishing him a speedy recovery. :)

Thanks Jenny. Unfortunately, there is no recovery for him. We've been dealing with his injurues for 4 years, and not getting any better. Just hopfully he doesn't get worse :)

I did try it last night. But I didn't have it fully installed properly. I found the same thing you did, the red tab was a little difficult. But, I think next week we'll all be taking a trip to BRU to try out seats. Fun for me :D Not so much for him, lol
