This is my sister's SS1 in her '02 Trailblazer. You can see her level indicator is all blue, but I think it's off. The foot is already all the way extended. I posted before about putting my other sister's SS1 in this sister's base and the level being off. I've also noticed when the two seats are just sitting on the floor, they don't indicate the same angle. The black line above the car is a good indication of level. Sorry about the sunshade and toys... I think they make it harder to estimate. :o

Not 45 but not THAT far from it.

It's hard to tell 100% because the sun shade is up, but I'd expect it to be perfectly fine. I've never actually encountered a vehicle that the foot didn't extend far enough to get an appropriate recline, so with it being all the way extended I'd expect the recline to be enough.

At a conference I attended this year (with various manufacturers present), that level indicators should be considered accurate and some may be set at an angle other than 45 degrees.

It does not appear that the baby's head will fall forward and it is all blue, it should be fine!
